Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Scope of This Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all services offered by stagezorix, including professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. It covers bookings, subscriptions, and one-off engagements purchased through our commercial website targeting customers in the United Kingdom.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable. Additional charges may arise for overtime, equipment hire, travel outside the Greater London area, or expedited delivery of feeds. These will be confirmed in writing before any contract is finalised.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept bank transfers, major credit and debit cards, and approved business accounts. Payments are authorised through secure third-party processors compliant with PCI DSS standards. Your card details are never stored on our systems. Authorisation is sought at the time of booking and the charge is completed once the service is confirmed.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed only when we send written confirmation of your booking or subscription, including a unique reference number. Until that point, any quotation or cart summary is an invitation to treat and may be withdrawn. Confirmation emails are sent to the address you supply and contain full details of the services, dates, and total amount due.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation. This right does not apply once performance of the service has begun with your express consent. For live broadcasting feeds, cancellation after the signal has been scheduled may incur the full fee.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for cancellations made within the cooling-off period provided no services have commenced. Services already delivered, custom feed configurations, or deposits paid for exclusive event coverage are non-refundable. Promotional or discounted packages may carry separate terms stated at purchase.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your booking reference, full name, and reason for cancellation. Include any supporting documents such as confirmation emails. Requests must be made in writing; telephone requests will not be processed.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within two working days. Our team reviews eligibility against this policy and UK consumer law. You will receive a written decision within ten working days. If rejected, clear reasons and any available alternatives will be provided.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though bank transfer refunds may take up to fourteen days depending on your provider. You will be notified by email once the refund has been initiated.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Services
Once a live feed has been transmitted or a subscription period has started, refunds are limited to the unused portion only if technical failure on our part prevented delivery. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the booking will be cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated immediately upon notification. Chargebacks without valid grounds may result in service suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity is reported to the appropriate authorities in line with UK law.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
